Work Based Learning Coordinator

In response to the recent school closing due to Covid-19 or Coronavirus  we would like to provide direction regarding students in the Work Based Learning program.

  • This period of virtual learning will be treated the same as we treat fall break or holiday break in Work Based Learning.
  • Please discuss the circumstances with your parent and employer and make an appropriate decision based upon these conversations.
  • Students that are working will keep/turn in job hours as normal.
  • Any student NOT working during the digital learning period will be expected to contact their Work Based Learning Coordinator for virtual assignments to take the place of job hours.
  • Students were sent a survey to collect information regarding work status.
  • Should circumstances change, students should contact their WBL Coordinator.
  • All Classwork for Work Based Learning will be in the Google Classroom no later than Monday, March 16th at noon.

Bio

Marcia Shadinger Morris is a native of Carroll County. She graduated from Carrollton High School and the University of West Georgia with a BS, M.Ed, and Ed.S in Business Education. She has been a Work Based Learning Coordinator on and off since 1997. Mrs. Morris has taught Work Based Learning at every high school in Carroll County. She has been married for over 35 years to Keith Morris, and they have three adults sons, all who graduated from Central High School and Georgia Southern University. {Zeke, Ethan (Stephanie), and Will Morris}
